Every once in a while there is an experience that is so incredible it’s hard to know how to describe it. This is the situation with my recent trip to El Salvador in Central America. I was asked to do a keynote speech at the International Women’s Coffee Alliance Convention. The IWCA is an organization that strives to create a difference in the world of coffee. Their mission is to “empower women in the international coffee community to achieve meaningful and sustainable lives; and to encourage and recognize the participation of women in all aspects of the coffee industry.”
